Since 1993, this festival has
been held on mid-August weekends. There are some slight changes in the
program every year.
On August 12, 2001, the main demonstration shown are :
- the Doma vaquera
- Equestrian calling back of the raptores
- Cinema tumbles "cascades"
The main attraction of this huge equestrian
meeting is undoubtedly the Percheron breed's display, as described
below:
- Elegance Contest (Concours d'Elegance)
- Training exercises
- The Percherons Parade
- "Attelage" Contests (Concours d'Attelage)
- Old fashioned haymaking
- Wood logs discharging
- The marathon in the flowered orchards
On Sunday mornings in a very crowded and
lively village, you can find:
- The Old-Fashioned Market
- The Washing women at the washing-house
- Riding ramblers
- The Police Horse Guard
- The Sunday morning rural mass
Traditional country meals consisting of barbeques, where traditional
"Cru de Cambremer " Cider is served.
